Summer Lavender
尺寸: 91x72.5cm

In the fullness of summer,

lavender blooms in quiet stillness.
Some landscapes can never remain within the frame.

Visual Guide:

At the center of the composition, a smaller painting of a lavender garden appears like a quietly opened window, inviting the viewer into another realm.

Beyond its edges, expansive fields of violet and turquoise dissolve into one another. Flowing textures and naturally descending surfaces allow the colors, light, and atmosphere of the garden to extend gently beyond the frame.

The garden within the painting is framed, yet it never ceases to grow. Hints of lavender seem to drift beyond its borders, merging with the surrounding space and the viewer’s own experience.

More than a depiction of lavender, the work reflects on the relationship between art and life. The landscapes that remain with us are never confined to a frame—they continue to live quietly within memory.
