六接胎以上、不修胎,器身小口、豐肩、溜縮腹,線條造型優雅、活潑,並搭配精巧、細緻之花苞鈕型器蓋;為元朝不同於宋朝民族性,所產生豪邁、新穎造型之梅瓶風格。
 It showcases a distinctive style with an octagonal shape, small mouth, rounded shoulders, and a tapering body. The lines of the design exude elegance and liveliness, complemented by the intricate bud-shaped lid. This style represents a bold and innovative departure from the ethnic characteristics of the Song dynasty, reflecting the unique Meiping style of the Yuan dynasty.
花苞型鈕器蓋上沿繪有釉裡紅捲草紋,鈕蓋主體紋飾是有間隔的青花蓮瓣紋,內繪釉裡紅祥雲紋飾,蓋內有滴釉,滴釉周圍局部有火石紅。瓶身豐肩上沿繪青花雙圈,器身主體紋飾為三條釉裡紅游魚,為四間魚、鯉魚和鯽魚,三條魚優游穿梭在青花繪水波、釉裡紅繪浪波的水波紋中,並有釉裡紅蓮花、荷葉,足外圍繪製有間隔的青花蓮辦紋,內繪青花如意雲與釉裡紅蓮花紋,整體紋飾皆為標準元朝時期畫風及紋飾,畫風滿工。
The lid of the bud-shaped cover is adorned with iron red scrolling motifs, while the main body features three distinct fish in iron red amidst blue and white wave patterns. These fish, including four-jian fish, carp, and grass carp, swim gracefully through the blue and white waves and iron red crested waves. The surrounding area of the fish motifs is decorated with iron red lotus flowers and lotus leaves. The foot of the vase exhibits a blue and white lotus petal pattern on the outside and an iron red cloud motif on the inside. The glaze on the fish motif vase is an embodiment of the typical artistic style and patterns of the Yuan dynasty, demonstrating a skilled hand in its execution.
釉裏紅易燒失,對溫度及氣氛敏感,如發色不好則容易呈黑色或灰色,若還原氣氛掌控不好還會出現綠色斑痕,此件少部分即有釉裡紅揮發未完全形成的蟹殼青與蘋果綠,是標準元朝釉裡紅特徵。青花料以國產料和進口料混合,微帶周圍有黃褐、綠褐的鐵鏽斑,青花料和釉裡紅皆吃進胎骨,透明釉部分微帶蛋青。
Iron red glaze is sensitive to firing conditions and atmosphere, potentially resulting in colors like black or gray. In this case, slight remnants of underdeveloped iron red glaze result in crabshell green and apple green hues, which are characteristic of Yuan dynasty iron red glazes. The blue and white pigments are a mix of domestically produced and imported materials, featuring subtle rust spots in shades of yellow-brown and green-brown. Both the blue and white pigments and iron red glaze are integrated into the body, while the transparent glaze has a slight eggshell tint.
此件使用麻昌土與高嶺土混合之二元配方土,胎質粗、帶雜質,足底末施釉但有滴釉,收足底旋坏痕,足底斜削45度,可見黑褐色芝麻斑點狀,足底和足底滴釉處有標準火石紅。
The vase is made using a combination of Ma Chang and Gaoling clays, resulting in a coarse texture with impurities. The foot is unglazed with dripped glaze, and the underside displays a 45-degree bevel with characteristic sesame seed-like black-brown spots. The foot and the dripped glaze area exhibit standard "fire-chestnut" marks.
